The tables below are worked out from the rental listings on this website, so they show real rents for flats and rooms you can enquire about today. They are not a market average. When a flat is rented it drops out, and new flats are added as they come.

Why Two Flats of the Same Size Can Cost Different Rent

Size and layout

A 1 Room, 1 RK, 1 BHK and 2 BHK are priced very differently, and the carpet area inside the same BHK can vary a lot.

Furnishing

Unfurnished, semi-furnished and fully furnished homes sit at different price points. Items such as AC, wardrobes and beds add to the rent.

Floor, lift and parking

A ground floor with parking is not the same as a top floor without a lift. Ask what is included before comparing prices.

Building and surroundings

The age and upkeep of the building, the lane or road it is on, and how close it is to markets, schools and transport all play a part.

Who can stay

Some owners prefer families, others allow bachelors. Each listing on this site says whether bachelors are allowed.

Think Beyond the Monthly Rent

On top of the rent, plan for a security deposit, any brokerage, rental agreement costs, and monthly maintenance or utility bills. Ask the owner or us about each one before you decide.

About These Rents

Are these rents the market average?

No. They are the rents of the flats and rooms currently listed with Akshat Estate, so they change as flats are rented and new ones are added. Treat them as a guide to what is available through us today, not as a fixed price list.

Why does the rent differ between two flats of the same size?

Furnishing, floor, parking, the age and upkeep of the building, and the exact lane or road all change the rent. Whether the owner prefers families or allows bachelors can matter too.

What should I budget for besides the monthly rent?

Plan for a security deposit, any brokerage, rental agreement costs, and monthly maintenance or utility bills. Ask about each of them before you decide. Our rent budget calculator and rental agreement guide explain them in more detail.
